The pale colors of new leaves range from yellow, red and orange before the chlorophyl emerges to display in pay green. Wild azalea bloom at Dolly Sods in the most prolific in North America. The Laurel bloom season is spectacular at Dolly Sods and parts of Canaan Valley. The lower Dry Fork River water shed is especially beautiful when spring emerges.
